Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Highway, Sunny Isles has turned itself into one of the most luxurious and desirable communities in all of Southern Florida. This one-of-a-kind town has earned itself a reputation for being one of the absolute best places to live in the entire state.
In 1920 Harvey Baker Graves purchased the land to develop it into a high-end residential and resort community. In 1925, once the Haulover Bridge was completed, the land became even more desirable. The area was known as North Miami Beach until 1931 when the name was changed to Sunny Isles. While the area gained more and more popularity with each passing year, it wasn’t until 1997 that the town was officially established.
Nowadays, the community of Sunny Isles is renowned for its luxurious amenities, pristine public areas and world-class shopping and dining opportunities.
